About Me

You're probably wondering who I am, and how I got into this business.

It's been a long journey that has brought me where I am today. My travels in the wedding trade start with operating a catering company with my wife in the mid-eighties, later working as an assistant in her flower shop, and now here!

Occasionally, people want to know of my spiritual background and beliefs. The philosophy that best summarizes my beliefs is known as Interfaith, which honors and values the fundamental beauty and wisdom of all religious traditions. The Interfaith movement believes that it is not the form of religious practice that is important, but the spiritual intent that underlies it.

I was ordained by the Universal Life Church, which holds that every person has the right to interpret what is right for themselves, as long as it doesn't interfere with the rights of others.

Bearing that in mind, remember that I will never tell you what you have to do in your wedding ceremony. I've had the pleasure to perform hundreds of weddings, Christian as well as secular, multi-cultural and multi-faith. I've performed weddings at most of the popular wedding venues in the area, as well as in many public parks and private residences.

Some of the more unusual places and situations have been at the butterfly exhibit in the Woodland Park Zoo, on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train, in monk's robes at the Renaissance Fantasy Faire in Gig Harbor, and most recently a Halloween wedding dressed as Elvis!
